Pulego Technologies Showcases Innovation at the Science Forum South Africa (SFSA) 2025

Pulego Technologies proudly participated in the Science Forum South Africa (SFSA) 2025, held from 24–28 November 2025 at the prestigious CSIR International Convention Centre (ICC). The annual event, hosted by the Department of Science and Innovation, brings together scientists, policymakers, innovators, and industry leaders to celebrate and advance Africa’s role in global science and technology. This year, Pulego was honoured to be featured under the City of Tshwane SMME Pavilion, where we showcased our growing portfolio of civic technology solutions, including the Co-City Platform our flagship smart city ecosystem designed to transform service delivery, enhance citizen engagement, and empower municipalities through advanced digital tools. Being part of the City of Tshwane stand provided a platform for us to: · Highlight homegrown innovation shaping the future of urban governance. · Engage with national and international stakeholders, including government departments, development partners, and research institutions. · Demonstrate the impact of digital transformation in improving public service delivery across municipalities. · Explore new partnerships that strengthen our commitment to building resilient, data-driven African cities. Our team had the opportunity to interact with hundreds of attendees who showed keen interest in how our Co-City Platform is helping governments improve operational efficiency, manage incidents, and enhance communication with citizens in real time. Participation at SFSA 2025 aligns with Pulego’s vision to drive digital innovation across Africa. As a company deeply rooted in civic technology, we believe that collaborative platforms like SFSA are vital for connecting innovators with the resources, networks, and ideas needed to accelerate impact. Our involvement also reflects our ongoing efforts that contribute to local economic development and elevate Tshwane as a hub for tech innovation. We extend our gratitude to the City of Tshwane for the opportunity to exhibit under their SMME programme and for continuing to support local innovators. We also appreciate the organisers of SFSA 2025 for hosting a world-class event focused on science, technology, and inclusive development. Pulego remains committed to building technology that matters, solutions that are grounded in community needs, strengthened by research, and powered by innovation. Our participation in SFSA 2025 has further inspired our mission to create scalable, impactful digital tools for governments, organisations, and citizens.
Abuja 2025: Participation and Networks fueling future growth

AUCTF 2.0 Closing Ceremony – Reflections from Nigeria Celebrating Co-City and a Continental Movement for Civic Innovation Our recent trip to Nigeria for the African Union Civic Tech Fund (AUCTF) 2.0 Closing Ceremony was a truly inspiring experience. Hosted in Abuja, the event brought together a dynamic group of civic tech innovators, activists, and thought leaders from across the continent, all working to build more inclusive, transparent, and participatory societies. As part of the AUCTF 2.0 cohort, Pulego Technologies was proud to showcase our flagship platform, Co-City. Co-City is a digital solution designed to improve communication and collaboration between municipalities and citizens, with features such as incident reporting, alert notifications, and a municipal dashboard, Co-City aims to make local governance more accessible, responsive, and data driven. Participation in the AUCTF programme gave us the opportunity to refine and scale Co-City through technical support, capacity building, and access to a growing network of civic innovators. The closing ceremony marked not just the end of a programme, but the beginning of a new chapter for Co-City as we move towards broader implementation, commercialisation, and long-term sustainability. We express our sincere gratitude to the African Union, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), and all the programme partners for believing in our work and giving us this opportunity. Co-City’s growth is a direct result of their investment in African civic tech talent. As we return home, we do so with strengthened partnerships, renewed purpose, and a bold ambition to help cities across Africa become smarter, more connected, and more responsive to the needs of their citizens. #CoCity #CivicTech #AUCTF #AfricaInnovates #DigitalGovernance#Tech4Good
